When a man and his documentary crew get sucked through a wormhole into an alternate reality with no way to get home, they must decide whether to find a way back or risk it all to stay and help the alternate world that is falling apart.

Still in development, Brighton Bound  is a high-concept, thrilling piece that is also a deep exploration of character and the morality of altruism.

A Note from the Director

Brighton Bound is probably our most ambitious project to date. It's a high-concept film involving shifts in reality, mind-bending VFX, and lots of action and drama. Amidst the thrill ride is a deep exploration of character and the morality of altruism. Our characters must deal with their own faults and come to terms with the main question the film poses: should we help those in need when anything we do will have no affect on our own perceived world? I have grown to love these characters as they've taken shape and am thrilled to be able to bring them to life on the screen and explore their stories and questions of morality in a deep, personal, yet exciting way.

Key Characters

  • Adrian Nichols

Intelligent, headstrong, and confident, Adrian creates a wormhole machine in his basement after losing all his funding for his ill-fated project. Still dealing with the dark failures of his past, there is more to Adrian and his quest than he ever lets on.

  • Clifford Flynn

Abrasive, brash, and narcissistic, Clifford is the director of the documentary crew following Adrian and his quest for science. Rather than deal with his insecurities, he projects a confident facade to the world, all the while demeaning who he can to get ahead. He is vehemently opposed to helping anyone but himself and strongly desires only to return home.

  • Jordan Williams

Confident, intelligent, and kind, Jordan was recently hired on the documentary crew to run the camera equipment. When faced with Clifford's brash demeanor, longs to find other employment, though she remains stuck with the crew following the incident, intent on helping the alternate yet crumbling world.

  • Tim Emerson

Gentle, quiet, and mysterious, Tim has put up with Clifford for years as his right-hand man. Occasionally bent to the sarcastic or witty comment, Tim holds the crew together following the incident, yet believes that the alternate world should take care of and rely on itself, absent of their intervening.
